The Rogers Theater 1940

Once upon a time, Shelby was known as a dynasty - don't believe us, look it up! - and the "Shelby Dynasty" controlled state politics for almost 20 years (1929-1949). It was during this time that The Rogers Theater was built and saw some of its most definitive years [including the release of Gone With The Wind in 1940. seen in the photograph]. So, to pay tribute to and revive the spirit of those that created unprecedented growth in the town, everyone that donates to the restoration of the theater will be honored for their contributions. Take a look at our tiers for more information!

To see our Dynasty Donor tiers, click the photo of the Gone With The Wind Premier. Please note that our Dynasty Donors are those that give during the restoration process, and their legacy will be recognized on the Donor Wall that will be unveiled at a VIP reception before the Grand Opening of the theater. Once open, annual donor tiers will be established but will not include the option to be featured on the donor wall, or perk extensions.
